About Peter Nguyen
Peter graduated from McGill University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Commerce degree, specializing in B2B marketing. He launched and ran a marketing communications company, Major Force, from 2000 to 2003 -- the company later became Evok Communications (www.evok.ca)
The recipient of two literary awards (Salon du livre, 1986; Les Jeunes Ecrivains, 1987), Peter is also an accomplished calligrapher who worked for renowned multimedia artist Michel Lemieux (http://www.4dart.com), as well as St. Patrick's Basilica, McGill University, Dawson College and Diva Productions. He currently teaches calligraphy privately while promoting the art through the blog Calligraphy Show (www.calligraphyshow.blogspot.com).
In his childhood, Peter was valedictorian of both his elementary school and his high school. He developed early in life a deep appreciation of and reverence for knowledge.
He comes from a family of eight children, all of whom are university-educated and are working as professionals contributing to Canadian society.
Since 1992, he also writes once a month, as Feature Editor, a front-cover story for a community newspaper called Asian Leader (circulation of 10,000). The story focuses on a young, beautiful and talented Asian woman between 18 and 35 years of age. Sample at www.angelayunlu.blogspot.com
Peter currently works as co-founder, trainer and coach at Talentelle, a company specializing in "providing the best support to women who want to succeed in their chosen career."
